Our Story

The reason we developed this tool was because I damaged my acromioclavicular ligaments in my right shoulder from adjusting patients. I was using my shoulder to do the majority of the pushing on a patient who was lying face down on an adjusting table.

The repeated stress on my shoulder became incredibly painful. I sought out another way to adjust and found that doing more anterior thoracic adjustments relieved my shoulder pain.

However, after a few months of doing anterior adjustments so often, I started getting aches and pains in the joints of my hand. My frustration level began to rise as I did not think I would be able to comfortably adjust patients without experiencing my own aches and pains. As long as my hand was being used as a fulcrum with no protection, the pain was going to persist.

That was when I decided to find a tool that would mimic my hand. I reached out to my cousin Nick, an engineer. I told him I wanted to find a way to adjust a patient while taking the force off my shoulder and hand, so together we created Anterior Assist.

We wanted a tool to be made from quality material, so we chose to make it out of wood. We have spent hours working to make this tool effective, durable, and light-weight and comfortable to the patient and provider. After developing this product and making many alterations to the design, we came up with the product that changed my practice and will change your practice as well.

Stop CRUSHING Your Fist!

We all as chiropractors have those hard to adjust patients, the patients that are stiff, larger than yourself. The patients that you struggle to adjust every time. When the patient leaves they don’t feel like you “got the spot” there is a good chance you didn’t. You as a chiropractor need multiple tools in your arsenal. I agree, we should use our hands as our primary means of adjusting, but you have to take care of your hands as well.

When you have a patient that will not adjust in your traditional approach you need to utilize other tools of the chiropractic trade. These tools are Anterior Assist, activator, SOT blocks, drops, flexion distraction just to name a few. No two patients are alike and we have to approach each patient as a different individual case. Remember anterior adjusting is a great way to manipulate the spine, but keep your hands protected and safe from repetitive microtrauma.

Do not damage your hands doing anterior thoracic adjustments with out the protection of Anterior Assist. Anterior Assist is the best chiropractic anterior thoracic adjusting tool on the market, with 30 day money back guarantee, lifetime warranty and the most affordable including free shipping with sales world wide.
